PT Phapros, Tbk is a pharmaceutical company which is a subsidiary of PT Kimia Farma Tbk (Member of Bio Farma Group), which currently control shares up to 56,7% and the rest is held by the public, including employees. Phapros’ commitment to upholding quality and environmental standards is demonstrated by consistently adhering to changes in quality standards through the implementation of the latest Good Manufacturing Practices for Pharmaceutical and Herbal products, as well as the requirements for the distribution of medical devices and Good Manufacturing Practices for Medical Devices. This commitment extends to Financial Accounting Standards and an integrated Quality Management System which includes ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 17025, Risk Management and Halal Assurance Certification. Currently, the company has produced more than 250 types of drugs, the majority of which are the result of in-house development classified into Ethical, Over-the-Counter (OTC), and Generic Drug product groups. In addition to manufacturing its Medicinal Products, Phapros is also entrusted by other pharmaceutical industries to produce drugs through contract manufacturing collaborations. These products, apart from meeting the national needs, also serve the requirements of other countries through export collaborations initiated since 2013. To date, Phapros' products are distributed in several countries, including Southeast Asian Nations, Africa, and Latin America. Furthermore, the company has expanded its business scope to the non-pharmaceutical sector with non-electromedical healthcare devices that have obtained distribution permits from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.
