Ponte Jornalismo

Ponte Jornalismo is a non profit media organization created to defend human rights through independent professional journalism, collaborating in consolidation of Brazilian democracy. Ponte uses journalism to amplify voices of people who are victms and fight against human rights violations, mainly estatal violence, racism crimes and gender crimes. Our stories talks about extrajudicial executions perpetrated by police, innocent people convicted without proofs or people who are killed for being black or LGBT+. And more. Besides violations and death, we also talk about identity and life, opening space to marginalized voices talk their stories about resistance, culture, arts, sports and other ways of living and feeling.
