Founded in Athens in 1908, Panathinaikos F.C. is Greece’s oldest active football club and one of its most iconic sports institutions. With 20 Greek Championships and 20 Greek Cups to our name, we have built a legacy of footballing excellence and national dominance. On the international stage, our history includes being the only Greek club to reach a Champions League final (1971) and participate in the Intercontinental Cup, as well as multiple deep runs across UEFA competitions. Beyond success on the pitch, Panathinaikos stands for fair play, unity, and ambition. Our extensive youth development network across Greece continues to identify and nurture the next generation of football talent, while our home, the historic Apostolos Nikolaidis Stadium has been a landmark of Athens football since 1922.
