In 2011 odelo was acquired by Bayraktarlar Holding, a leading manufacturer in the automotive lighting sector in Turkey. Since the first vehicle interior light in 1935 the company has grown into one of the largest manufacturers of vehicle lights in the world. In eight decades of pioneering decisions and entrepreneurial courage odelo set many technological milestones such as the high-tech OLED tail light or the first edge-light serial rear light.
