The annual Pumpkin Give-Away has already become a Dane County institution, having donated thousands of dollars to local charities. Oak Bank has become immersed in the Fitchburg community by involving itself with numerous events, projects, and sponsorships including the Fitchburg Farmer's Market, support of the Fitchburg Police Department, Fitchburg Concerts in the Park, the Fitchburg Fire Department, Fitchburg Boys & Girls Club, Fitchburg's Bark in the Park, and Little League, to name just a few. Oak Bank associates continue to involve themselves in local charitable organizations such as Easter Seals, Share Your Holidays, and take leadership positions in service organizations such as the Fitchburg/Verona Rotary, Downtown Madison Rotary, Fitchburg Chamber Economic Development Board, Fitchburg Chamber of Commerce, Fitchburg Days, Realtors Association, Madison Area Builders Association, Altrusa International, Inc. of Madison, and Fitchburg's New Economy Technology Team. Our Leader Founding Oak Bank was Bob Gorsuch's dream. He wanted to open a new bank able to provide quality personal service that people want.
