Nielsen's Florist

Nielsen’s florist was established in 1944 by Hilda and Christian Nielsen. Still in its original location in Darien, it is now being run by their granddaughter, Sandra Nielsen-Baumann. Our long-term philosophy has always been based on our dedication to maintaining successful relationships with our customers and vendors alike. In addition, we believe in giving back to the community through personal involvement in various local charities, schools and town organizations. Nielsen’s has become a fantastic one-stop shopping destination for plant and floral needs, home décor and gifts. The shop itself is a pleasure to wander through and you can always stop at the café for a bite to eat as you browse. We are dedicated to offering the best product lines across the board by staying on top of current trends in home décor and floral design. Nielsen’s Florist of Darien is more than just a local florist, it is a shopping experience to enjoy. Nielsen’s can deliver flowers or plants to New Canaan, Stamford, Norwalk, Darien and anywhere in between. We also work with other established florists to deliver flowers across the country or across the world.
