Mondi Packaging South Africa (MPSA) was established in 2005 with Shanduka as the empowerment partner. Mondi own a 69.99% equity stake in MPSA and The Shanduka group own a 25.01% equity stake in MPSA. MPSA includes Mondi’s Packaging and Industrial Paper Operations at Springs, Felixton and Piet Retief, its corrugated converting business Mondipak Corrugated, its recovered fibre collection and processing operations Mondi Recycling, Mondipak Plastics, Mondi Versapak, Mondi Plastic Containers and Mondi Merchants Paperlink. MPSA is part of the Mondi Group, an international paper and packaging group with production operations across 35 countries.
