Microla Optoelectronics S.r.l.

In July 2006, Microla Optoelectronics S.r.l. emerges as a Polytecnic of Turin spin-off company, offering solid state laser sources. Microla works actively in every manufacturing sector providing expertise in optics and electronics and a wide experience in laser micro-machining processes. Our facilities are fully equipped with optical and electronic instruments and diverse laser systems for testing and developing every single project. This has led to the creation of fully functional equipments such as the "Laser Ready"​, and other systems of laser processing tailored to meet customer requirements. Microla includes among its customers small, medium and large companies in the search of gaining sensitivity of the potential technology needed inside different industrial contexts, building with them a flow of technological success. In 2012 we acquired a patent on an innovative system of optic reading, by means of a laser probe, to obtain the oscillating frequency of micro-mechanic structures (MEMS). Microla signed a multi-year partnership agreement with the Department of Applied Science and Technology (DISAT) of Polytecnic of Turin guaranteeing privileged access to state of the art optical and electronic equipment. The synergy with the laboratory ChiLab Chivasso (TO), home to facilities of design and manufacture sensors and micro actuators, offers a possibility to instrumentally qualify laser process'​ and evaluate obtained results.
