Max Planck Innovation GmbH is responsible for the technology transfer of the Max Planck Society (MPG). As Germany’s leading organization for basic research, the MPG conducts cutting-edge research of global renown. In many cases, this outstanding research forms the basis for innovative products and services that are realized through licensing or the creation of spin-offs. As the technology transfer unit of the MPG, Max Planck Innovation GmbH has been supporting and managing these activities for more than 50 years. In doing so, we fulfill an important and socially relevant mission: transferring results from basic research into projects that generate economic and societal value.
