Little English is a woman owned & operated design house with tradition at its heart. Inspired by the exceptional quality of hand-sewn clothing, and her belief that children should be well-dressed as children, Shannon Latham founded little english in 2004. As head of design, Shannon works side-by-side with her daughter, Dunn Latham, to create seasonal collections. What started as a beautiful layette line defined by traditional hand-smocking has flourished into a full apparel line with accompanying accessories, outerwear, and gifts. Today, little english is an upscale lifestyle brand that can be purchased through our website as well as in 250+ fine boutiques across the US, and major luxury retailers such as Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Maisonette, and more. The steadfast love for this timeless brand has prompted mentions in Southern Living Magazine, Country Living Magazine, Parade.com, & Parents.com. Most recently, the designers at little english have welcomed their second brand, BISBY, into Latham Companies, LLC.
