The firm was originally set up in 2011 by founding partners Peter Fenech and Simon Galea Testaferrata as IURIS Malta Advocates, with the aim of bringing together a well-knit team of lawyers, all of whom had worked together for a number of years, to provide a highly professional, yet flexible service to the firm’s clients. Our Roots Like many other law firms in Malta, IURIS has its roots in general civil and commercial law, and the members of its team are all well-versed in these pillars of law. The firm has also evolved throughout the years, responding to social, financial and technological developments by expanding its fields of practice in many other areas of law, including among others, corporate law, financial services, intellectual property and equality law. Today, the firm comprises IURIS Consult Limited, through which it provides corporate and financial services, IURIS Trustees Limited, through which it provides fiduciary services, and IURIS Advocates, which serves the more traditional civil and commercial law areas of practice.
