Insurance Brokers Association of Alberta

Insurance Brokers Association of Alberta (IBAA) is a not-for-profit trade association that represents more than 5300 insurance brokers in Alberta and over 320 individual brokerages in over 550 offices in approximately 167 communities in Alberta. Started in 1926 by insurance brokers, IBAA is still governed by brokers. IBAA is recognized by the government, insurance companies, and consumers. Main Objectives - Lobbying on behalf of our member brokers - Delivering quality, affordable, and accessible insurance education programs - Providing member benefits, such as marketing and business support, group health insurance, and insurance products
