Indonesia Business Council for Sustainable Development (IBCSD)

Investment for sustainable future is our driving force. We are a CEO-led association of companies operating in Indonesia, committing to promote sustainable development through sustainable economic growth, ecological balance, and social progress. The launch of this business council was on April 2011 and we are the WBCSD Global Partner. Founding members of IBCSD including 6 prominent Indonesian companies: Bakrie Telecom, Bank Negara Indonesia, Medco Power Indonesia, Holcim Indonesia, Garuda Indonesia, and PT Riau Andalan Pulp Paper. We are honored to bring together more than 40 companies in Indonesia onboard in advancing sustainability initiatives by 2022, and the number is potentially growing. Working together across different companies and industries is the only way to create a safe world where sustainable businesses thrive and benefit everyone. We provide business leadership as a catalyst for change towards sustainable development and we support the businesses to operate, innovate, and grow in a world increasingly shaped by ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) issues.
