Huali Microelectronics Corporation

Shanghai Huali Microelectronics Corp. is a joint venture majority owned by the Shanghai government. Minority stakes are held by Huahong Group, Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corp. and other investors.Involving a total investment of CNY 14.5 billion, the whole foundry is expected to be completed at the end of 2012, adopting the 90- 65- and 45-nanometer process techniques and being capable of putting out 35,000 12-inch wafers a month. In detail, the factory's monthly production capacity is estimated to reach 20,000 wafers at the ends of 2011.
