Hospital Estadual Sumaré - UNICAMP

This is a public hospital (non-profit) that belongs to the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), which is supported by the Government of São Paulo (a State of Brazil). Our responsibility for inpatient care, medium and high complexity, covers a area with 1 million inhabitants and our monthly productivity used to be: - Ambulatory: 5,500 appointments; - Admissions: 1.200 patients - Surgeries: 1,050; - Childbirth: 220; - Emergency room: 1,500 patients. Moreover, the hospital is used by the University for graduations and post-graduations courses (medicine, pharmacy and nursery).
