HBI (Home Builders Institute)
About
HBI (Home Builders Institute) is a national nonprofit that provides skilled trades training, curriculum development and job placement services for the building industry. The objective of all HBI programs is to train, credential, and place students in jobs within the construction industry and enable our students to positively transform their lives by providing a solid career trajectory. All programs and trainings are at NO COST to our students. We achieve this thanks to very generous efforts and contributions from private and corporate sponsors, state and local grants, and individual donors. HBI training programs are taught across the country to at-risk youth, Veterans, transitioning Military members & their families, justice-involved youth and adults, displaced workers, high schools and trade schools, and adults starting a career in construction. Our curriculum is 1 of only 3 nationally recognized by the U.S. Dept. of Labor. HBI curriculum is available for purchase for schools, community programs, and re-entry and rehab programs.
