In the last two decades, we have grown from a small group of dedicated staff and supporters into an organisation with offices in Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia.  Together with our thousands of volunteers and supporters, we are able to bring about sustainable and green solutions to the most urgent local challenges. These include the Climate Emergency and its impacts on the region’s diverse local communities, wildlife and ecosystems; our rights to clean air and healthy food systems; and the protection of our ancient forests and oceans and the people that depend on them. As Greenpeace, we use non-violent creative action to pave the way towards a greener, more peaceful world, and to confront the systems and practices that threaten our environment. Our independence is vital- a core principle that guides all of our campaigns and fundraising. We are honoured that our work is funded by donations from passionate individuals and grants from private foundations who share our values.
