GEORGE OPTICAL INC. was established in October of 1960. That was also when our first clinic opened along Tomas Pinpin in Binondo, Manila. It was from the vision of keeping abreast with the optical industry’s advancements, as well as our founder, the late George G. Co, O.D.’s, personalized service and professional commitment that this clinic prospered and earned its reputation. In 1980, our second clinic, which now serves as the head office opened along Taft Ave. in Pasay City. It offered an even wider range of eyewear collection, the latest optical instruments in eye examination and our very own ophthalmic lens laboratory. This laboratory offers not just quality but fast service as well. In line with optometric and ophthalmological consultations, treatments were also available. Proud to say we are the first in the country to use the state-of-the-art, automated Visual Field Analyzer, the Interzeag Octopus 1010 from Switzerland. Currently, most of our branches utilize the non-contact tonometry in glaucoma screening. To date, GEORGE OPTICAL INC. has a total of twenty (21) branches with three (3) partner optical stores, THE OPTICIANS and is continuously expanding throughout the country. We uphold our commitment to giving our patients a more personalized experience and accurate clinical practice that goes beyond vision – eye care beyond eyewear. This serves as our personal watchword as we set ourselves apart from other optical clinics and be at par with international standards for our patients.
