East Sydney Private Hospital is accredited to version 2, the most recent National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standard. With 32 overnight medical and surgical beds, a recent ward expansion has added 12 luxurious private rooms with ensuites and many boasting Woolloomooloo wharf water views. We have five spacious operating theatres, including a dedicated eye theatre with adjoining set-up room that facilitates integrated imaging capabilities and a large 55sqm orthopaedic theatre. A core value to our leadership team is quality patient care, to achieve this we are continually invest in state-of-the-art instrumentation, minimally invasive technology. This investment and allows our clinical team to provide integrated care ranging in the treatment of complex sinus surgery, joint replacement and spinal fixation surgery including cervical disc replacement. ​Our services have expanded to include weight-loss surgery, pain management, and a range of general surgical procedures such as hernia repairs, reflux surgery, and laparoscopic cholecystectomy. We accept medical admissions as well as offering acute care for nursing home transfers.
