Emsys is a technology company with 2 seperate activities, and is part of the Taste Westerlund Group. PSS, Product Scanning Solutions, provides solutions to reduce costs, improve efficiency and tracking & tracing by barcode, RFID or GP(R)S. Our roots can be found in paper, printing and packaging. Turnkey solutions and software platform allow our customers to streamline their internal logistic process, eliminating all errors and visualize in real time the error cost generated on the work floor. The system is uniquely designed to trace/monitor the entire logistical flow of material, semi-finished goods. Customer furnished materials and all kind of goods and (finished) products are tracked & traced in real time. Offering a unique database and barcode engine with more than 1500 label layouts, we identify and validate any original barcode label, which makes relabeling obsolete. In addition we offer a communication platform to connect the end customers to the suppliers electronically. Eliminating the paper documents and increasing reliability through EDI standardized messages. Visiongeek, a new activity which was started in 2014, is specialized in developing vision detection systems which will be implemented in industrial environments in order to: • Reduce production costs • Reduce the amount of defects • Protect the end consumer, but also the brand image of our clients • To reach the high quality and safety standards • Inspect and detect moving objects more into detail These activities will be rolled out in a wide range of branches. Vision technology consists of lighting, optics, image acquisition, optical sensors, camera technics, signal transmission and computer algorithms. By aligning those specific elements perfectly to each other, we make vision technology more efficient, robust and stable. Keeping those elements in mind, our employees are specialised in their domain and we try to convince our customers of the advantages of vison technology.
