De Raat Security Products

De Raat was founded in the 1950’s by Mr. G.W. De Raat from Zoetermeer in the Netherlands. Originally a locksmith by trade, Mr. De Raat had a vision of becoming a major supplier of high quality safes and secure storage in the international safe market. In 1967 De Raat Wholesale B.V. was created, which then changed to De Raat Security Products in 1989. The European headquarters remains in Zoetermeer to this day, however De Raat has since opened offices in Belgium and the UK and supply many markets outside of Europe. The De Raat group of companies include manufacturing premises in Germany, Italy and Poland making it one of the largest manufacturers of security safes in Europe. The group manufactures both ‘off the shelf’ certified safes and bespoke security solutions for domestic and commercial customers.
