CURA Glass: Your go-to glass company With 180 employees and 48 million euros in turnover in 2017, we are proud to be one of the biggest suppliers of flat glass in Europe. We also proudly consider ourselves to be a ‘total supplier’. As an independent wholesaler and distributer, we operate freely on the European market and strive to attain the very best conditions for customers like you. In 2013 we took an important step towards producing our own CURA laminated glass in-house. This will enable us to laminate all glass types according to the highest quality (CE level 1) and deliver it within days. With our motto ‘Imagine the Possibilities’, we believe we can inspire you!’  ‘In addition to taking this important step towards laminated glass production, we also changed our name to CURA Glass on 1 January 2014. Glasgroep Spliet en de Waal Buchsbaum may have an impressive history, but a catchy new name had long been a goal of ours. In the Netherlands we were known as Spliet and the abbreviation GSWB proved difficult to pronounce across the border. With CURA Glass, these limitations are gone. The new name provides us with national and international opportunities in a literal and figurative sense. CURA, Latin for care and the goddess of concern, was conceived and selected in-house. It symbolises the dedication and commitment of our employees, some of whom will introduce you to the products, projects, knowledge and possibilities of our glass company.
