Connections for Children

For over 40 years, Connections For Children has designed, initiated, and maintained programs that help children reach their full potential by supporting families’ access to quality child care and education. We inform parents about child development, advocate for quality early learning experiences, and provide community resources and training for families, teachers, and caregivers. Founded in 1974, Connections For Children was one of the first child care resource and referral agencies in California. Established to assist families in choosing early care and education programs that meet their individual needs, the agency is also dedicated to increasing the quality of child care in the South Bay and Westside neighborhoods of Los Angeles County. Connections For Children’s programs serve the cities of Santa Monica, Culver City, El Segundo, Torrance, Lomita, Malibu, and Manhattan, Hermosa, and Redondo Beach, the cities of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, as well as the Los Angeles communities of Palms, Mar Vista, Venice, Westchester, Pico-Robertson, and West Los Angeles.
