Citizen Cosmetics is a multi-brand cosmetics company that embodies the qualities and interests of the millennial and post-millennial demographic. We are bold, well-informed and environmentally responsible. CTZN Cosmetics is led by Chairman Tariq Khan and his daughters Aleena, Aleezeh and Naseeha Khan, who are co-founders of the brand. The CTZN story came to fruition when founders Aleena, Aleezeh and Naseeha went shopping at several multi-brand cosmetics stores and started realizing that not a single model in the mainstream beauty campaigns looked like them, or better yet represented them. Models with ‘middle brown’ skin tones were hardly ever Southeast Asian or Middle Eastern. Citizen Cosmetics Limited is based in the fashion capital of London and inspired by the diversity of women and men around the world. We aspire to target a gender fluid consumer base of all races and ethnicities, in an industry where middle to darker skin tones are sadly underrepresented. The company aims to create a space where every individual from mass to premium markets feels represented and considered in the beauty space. Citizen Cosmetics aims to empower all consumers to feel that they too, are Citizens of the World. There is beauty in our differences and Citizen Cosmetics is here to remind us of that.
