The Carotino Group is a subsidiary of the JC Chang Group and is a fully integrated RSPO (Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil) certified company from plantation to the finished product. We are committed to maintaining the highest international standards in every aspect of our business and are dedicated to maintaining and extending our leading position in the research, development and manufacturing of palm oil products by using the latest environmentally-friendly, state-of-the-art technology. OUR PRODUCT RANGE OLEOCHEMICALS The Group produces material for manufacturing high quality detergent intermediates like Methyl Ester Sulphonates (MES), Methyl Ester Ethoxylates (MEE) & Fatty Alcohols. Carotino Palmitic Methyl Ester C16ME and Carotino Oleic Methyl Ester C18ME are downstream products of the palm oil trans-esterification process. C16ME is used in making environmentally friendly and biodegradable detergents and C18ME is processed to make personal care, cosmetics, industrial and pharmaceutical products. NEUTRACEUTICALS AND ANIMAL FEED Carotino Phytonutrient mix, Carotenes and Tocotrienols are used for food applications like dietary supplements, colourants and ingredients in personal care products and for processing into animal feed. ((CAF100) FOOD SERVICE AND INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS Carotino produces a range of food service products such as margarine, shortening, Butter Oil Substitute (BOS) and Carofry commercial catering oil, as well as vitamin-rich oils, oleins and superoleins for use in a wide variety of food manufacturing processes. BIODIESEL The Carotino Group was the first company in the world to set up a fully integrated palm biodiesel plant. The Group’s biodiesel brand is called Enffue- Environment Friendly Fuel and Enffue leads the world in palm biodiesel. CONSUMER PRODUCTS Carotino's consumer range includes Carotino Premium and Carotino Classic, as well as pure red palm fruit oils, which are sold all over the world.
