The determination of three new entrepreneurs to reformulate a method of communication, of service delivery and customer relations starting from the very BASIS of the concept of service led to "Basis Information Technology"​ being established in 1995. The following years of experience acquired in providing services to leading international corporations resulted in "Basis Plant Services"​ being created in 2000 with the aim of applying Basis’s philosophy to industrial services for the energy and oil & gas business. Market-recognized success and matured experience have driven the group to expand internationally and "Basis UK"​ was established in 2004, "Basis East Europe"​ in 2005, and "Basis Qatar"​ in 2007. Over the past 13 years, the group has seen the number of people it employs grow to about 300, all of whom are highly skilled and experienced, and focused on industrial and information technology services in outsourcing activities.
