Alberta's Industrial Heartland Association
About
Alberta’s Industrial Heartland (AIH) is Canada’s largest hydrocarbon processing region and most advanced carbon sequestration hub. With $40+ billion in existing capital investment and more than 40 companies, AIH provides fuels, fertilizers, power, petrochemicals, hydrogen, and more to provincial and global consumers. Our non-profit association is guided by municipalities dedicated to sustainable eco-industrial development. Alberta’s Industrial Heartland Association (AIHA) was created in 1998 by the municipalities who each have land within the geographic area of AIH.
